How to Use Us
We use the following process to allow us to deliver financial planning services to you:
- Contact us to arrange a time for your obligation-free initial appointment.
- Download the following documents:
-
Keep the Financial Services Guide for your records. This is a document that we must provide to you by law. It explains who will be providing you with Financial Advice and outlines our fee structure.
- Print the Confidential Financial Analysis and FinaMetrica Questionnaire and complete them in ink as best you can. Send them by post or hand delivery to us at least two business days before your
initial meeting with us.
We shall also need copies of these documents pertaining to you (and to your spouse if you have one):
a) if applicable, the latest Centrelink letter showing current entitlements;
b) recent statements for any investments you hold, such as bank accounts, property, managed funds, shares, investment bonds and the like;
c) if applicable, the latest annual statements for every superannuation fund that you have;
d) policy schedules and latest renewal notices for every life insurance policy, if any, that you own;
e) your latest available annual income tax return and assessment notice, if any; and
f) a copy of your most recent Aged Care Assessment, if any.
There may be other documents of which we should be made aware. Please send them along, too. We can copy original documents here and return them after our meeting, if you like.
If you will be representing someone else, we will require a certified copy of their Enduring Power of Attorney to you before we can provide Advice to you on their behalf.
When you visit a new doctor, he needs information to make an assessment of your medical situation. It helps the doctor to recognise what your problems are, and also to identify whether or not he or she can really assist you. Similarly, this information will help us to determine if we can help you. We don't want to waste your time or ours. We believe that if you are prepared to commit your time to providing the information we consider critical, we are more likely to be the right Financial Planners for you.
-
Your initial meeting with will enable us to better understand you, your situation and your financial needs and objectives. We will then determine if we can assist you and, if so, we will give you a quotation for written Advice. The
initial meeting will not include any Advice from us.
-
If you accept our Quotation, we will provide you with written Advice at a subsequent meeting, which is usually held two to four weeks later, subject to our research needs and other commitments.
